Our Services

As an NDT company specializing in the aviation industry, we offer a wide variety of inspection services that can always match your needs.

Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI, FPI)

Utilizing the physics behind capillary action, liquid penetrant inspection can be used to identify surface cracks that would otherwise be extremely difficult to see with the naked eye, highlight areas of corrosion, or even detect leaks caused by through cracking.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

Unlike LPI, magnetic particle inspection utilizes magnetic fields to identify the existence of indications in ferro-magnetic materials. While LPI can also be used on ferro-magnetic materials, MPI is much more sensitive to smaller surface indications, and can even detect sub-surface indications.

Eddy Current (ET, HFEC, LFEC, Conductivity, Bond Testing, Resonance)

Eddy current uses localized magnetic fields to induce an Eddy Current into the material which in turn is used to locate and interpret a wide variety of surface, and sub-surface defects. This testing method is highly versatile and can be used on a variety of non-ferrous, conductive materials.

Ultrasonic (UT, PAUT, Thickness Testing)

Ultrasonic testing is based on the propagation of sound waves. As the waves travel through the material, reflectors cause said sound waves to bounce back to the ultrasonic transducer. These returned signals are evaluated, and can be used to determine the presence of defects, or just the overall thickness of the material.

Other

We also offer hardness testing on various materials to ensure strength is maintained throughout the component’s life. Various cleaning services, paint stripping, and re-paint is also available upon request.
